DOÑA EMILIA ROOM
The Doña Emilia is a deluxe room that has a very special connection for Chef, owner Carolina Olea Cosignani. Her grandmother was also named Emilia. This exquisite accommodation is located in the historic, renovated 1910 Arts & Crafts House. For your slumbering pleasure the King size bed is exquisite and adorned with an Aguayo and matching pillow set; a woven textile from the Andes. The bathroom offers a shower and the walls are dressed with an original hand-painted mural. The restored, original sink sits in a wood cabinet and is located just outside the bath; similar to days past. The walls are adorned with an original Gerard Mailer. For sharing your adventures while in Santa Fe, an antique wood carved desk sits under a perfectly lit east facing window. You will find an antique chaise longue perfectly suited for an afternoon siesta; a piece of the family history. The original wood floors have been restored to perfection and the bath appointed with high end accessories. Historic downtown Santa Fe is a mere 10 minute walk from the Gourmet Inn. Step out of your impeccable accommodations into a little taste of history!
